President Shinra is the ruthless president of Shinra, Inc. His dream is his Neo-Midgar plan, which is to find the Promised Land. He is also content in ridding Shinra of all adversaries, including AVALANCHE. He is so intent with killing them, that he lets the plate above the Sector 7 slums, where AVALANCE is located, fall, destroying all of the Sector 7 slums. When he is killed by Sephiroth, the team believes that Shinra, Inc. is done, but he is succeeded by his even more ruthless son, Rufus.
