The Turks are the ruthless organization headed by Shinra. They do all of Shinra's dirty work: spying, murder, abduction. The four members of the Turks are Reno, Rude, Tseng, and Elena.

Tseng was the head of the Turks. He secretly likes Aeris, who he has been chasing for most of Aeris' life. He is killed by Sephiroth, in the Temple of the Ancients.

Tseng is replaced by Elena. Inexperienced and serious, she has problems with Rude and Reno's lax attitude. Her eagerness to get the job done has gotten her into trouble, like when she was captured by Don Corneo.

Rude and Reno are best friends. Rude is tall, bald, and quiet. Reno was short and very talkative. They are opposites, but they work together well. There is no team better than Rude and Reno, but off the job, they can be found relaxing and drinking in the bar.

Together, this team is a formidable foe, and is one of the biggest problems for Cloud and the others.
